I am Yau.
I am a former automotive technician and now work as a software engineer. I work by day, build my own ideas at night, and travel whenever I have time off.
This journal records the routes I have taken, the hotels I have stayed in, the transport I have used, the places I have visited, and the mistakes I have made along the way.
I write travel notes to preserve honest experience, not to make every destination look perfect. I want to remember what was worth visiting, what could have been planned better, and which small mistakes can be avoided next time.
There are many places I want to visit and many things I want to build.
My engineering background taught me to break problems down, organise details, and document what I learn. It also explains my interest in transport, tools, routes, and everyday systems.
Outside travel, I explore artificial intelligence, data analysis, automation, engineering tools, and side projects. Some of those ideas may appear under other kaitsz.ing projects in future; this space remains dedicated to travel.
Yau Travel Journal is one independent corner for recording departures, arrivals, wrong turns, and the next journey.
